Oregon Forest Wedding

A dreamy Oregon forest wedding in May. Baylee + Gabe were so sweet and their wedding day in Bend Oregon was as well. We didn’t start off the day with any traditional flatlays or dress photos, but kept it simple with some veil shots by the window. I’m a fan <3

Bend Oregon weddings in May can be tricky with weather throwing literally any combination at you but we got lucky with a mostly sunny beautiful day! Aspen Hall at Shevlin Park in Bend Oregon has some amazing green forests surrounding it as well as an actual Aspen grove when the season for it comes around.

The wind was doing some crazy stuff to the alter which is why you might have noticed its a little crooked…. we will pretend its not 😉 Thats the thing about wedding days, you can count on little mishaps but don’t let it ruin anything.

Shooting backed up to these pine trees and sun soaked forest hills was so picturesque. Just how I like it hehe I would love to photograph more Oregon forest weddings.

Also thanks Baylee for being willing to lay down on the forest floor– anything for the photo ugh I love it. Brides who do anything for the creative flow>>

Obviously if you’re having an Oregon forest wedding, I will make you pose with the fallen trees too.

Now babe, I don’t shoot film (yet. yet…) but these are giving me wedding film camera vibes and I’m all here for it. Here for the soft, grainy, and glimmery tones. Obsessed. As a travel wedding photographer, Bend Oregon is home but if I ever move away I’ll be back to photograph your wedding in a heart beat. Being a destination wedding photographer is honestly the best job in the world, but its pretty cool when I get to shoot weddings in my home town just 15 minutes commute. ily bend <3

Sneaking away during reception for some more cutie shots of the bride and groom? DUH. also it was her idea!! She gets it. This little seating are is so charming though, how could we not take advantage?

Having an indoor/outdoor wedding has so many perks, and we love a good patio dance party. This bride and groom opted for a lavender toss when entering the dance floor, and it was a hit. Literally those things kinda hurt when they hurl at you with force. Not actually but they do smell fantastic! As a destination wedding photographer, I absolutely recommend incorporating fun little things like this for your wedding guests. They’ll love it and remember your wedding day fondly. (and probably think about you everytime they smell lavender.)
