This destination waterfall elopement in Oregon at Sahalie Falls was one of my absolute favorites to photograph. C & R came from out of state to my home base, Bend Oregon for their destination elopement at Sahalie Falls. We met up at their Airbnb in Bend where they had gotten ready for the special day. Heading to the waterfall we connected with their Officiant (and my friend!) Rev Chris Lewis. He’s a lovely English gentleman who officiates couples ceremonies in a delightful and intimate fashion. Because C & R wanted this to be a laid back intimate and joyful event, they included their fur baby for the elopement ceremony as well. (I love photographing your fur babiesss!)
Starting with a first look and moving right into the ceremony they said ‘I do’ with Sahalie falls as the backdrop. Afterward they were adventurous and explored down next to the falls with me, and this is when we got this delicioussss light leak from the sun shooting through the mist… destination waterfall elopements DO NOT DISSAPOINT!!
10/10 destination elopement, would do again.
