This destination coastal engagement in Oregon was nothing short of DREAMYYYY !
Scarlett reached out from the east coast wanting to schedule an Oregon couples session— (while her and Alex aren’t yet engaged, I’m organizing this as engagement sesh hehe). We chatted over the phone and talked allll the possible gorgeous locations that Oregon has to offer. We contemplated a forest vibe, a waterfall, or maybe a mountain lake backdrop, but in the end the coastal sand bluffs won out. & you can obviously see WHYYY
Scarlett + Alex are both in the military, and Alex had recently relocated to the Oregon coast so this location was actually perfect! Only a 4 hour drive from Bend, but completely different vibes than the high desert that Central Oregon has to offer. We had the beach all to ourselves almost the whole time and I felt so lucky to be blessed with a sunny clear sky which seems to be *rareee* on the Oregon coast…. but we were prepared for an overcast moody vibe if thats what the weather wanted 😉
Scarlett + Alex were absolute dolls and literally trusted my every idea. The water was freezing but you couldn’t tell by looking at them splashing around in the photos. Ugh love you guysss!
I sent Scarlett a pinterest board to set the mood for the shoot and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. I really wanted to capture the effortless, playful emotions of being in love at the ocean. && these two made it so easyy
Remember how I said we had the beach to ourselves?? also also peep the little sliver of moon that came out just after sunset ugh
I cannot believe my couples trust me enough to run around in 50 degree water for my vision— y’all are iconic! ily so much
