Oregon Badlands Engagement, in Bend Oregon. E + E reached out and wanted something fresh and different for their Bend engagement photos… I think we achieved exactly that. There are many super cool locations to pick from for Oregon engagement photos but you must consider time of year, weather, tourism, time of day, and distance from Bend. The Oregon badlands are best in the spring when they’re most green from rain and haven’t dried out in high desert summer heat. As with most locations in Bend, I love love love photographing engagements or elopements here! It looks a little different each time I photograph here.
The Oregon Badlands are the perfect location if you’re wanting to stay far away from crowds and summer tourism in Bend, Oregon for your engagement photos. Its only about a 20 minute drive from the heart of Bend, Oregon and you won’t find any traffic on this road either. Plan carefully with sunset for maximum light in the evenings.
I had so much fun running around with these two. We laughed SO much during this whole session and they just made my job so easy. We kept joking that he looked just like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, can you see it??
Engagement photos are meant to be easy, you and your fiance running around goofing off with me in a beautiful location. My couples always tell me before the session “we don’t ever get photos taken we don’t know what to do!” Babesss thats on me! I will do everything and make sure you look like you. I just require that you arrive with a light hearted attitude and the most love for your person. My camera can see love.

While props are never required for your engagement session, I recommend bringing them if you want that fun variety and natural environment for your photos! A big blanket to sit on is always a good idea. E packed a whole little setup that fit the location here perfectly. {Also i fcking love their outfits I just had to mention that}. I send my couples an outfit guide and Pinterest outfit board for their engagement session so they have all the inspo for their engagement session outfits.
