A gorgeous Winter destination elopement in Oregon at FivePine Lodge. As a destination wedding and elopement photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing the special day of Adrianne and Dalton’s elopement at FivePine Lodge in Sisters, Oregon. Located just 20 minutes from the bustling city of Bend Oregon, Sisters Oregon provided the perfect secluded and intimate setting for their elopement.
The day began with light snowfall, adding a picturesque touch to the already breathtaking scenery. I arrived while Adrianne and Dalton were getting ready in their cozy cabin and immediately started capturing detail shots of the dress, rings, and flowers. We then ventured outside for a first look in the forest behind the cabins, where the couple shared a intimate and emotional moment. The diffused light coming through the overcast snowing sky and serene setting made for some truly stunning bridal portraits.
After the first look, we headed to the ceremony site with a few close family members in tow. The ceremony was short and intimate, truly reflective of the couple’s personalities and relationship. Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and captured more photographs.
Finally, we all headed inside for some much-needed warmth and indulged in cake and hot chocolate. Photographing winter destination elopements such as Adrianne and Dalton’s is one of my favorite aspects of my job as a destination wedding and elopement photographer. Each day is unique and spectacular in its own way, and I am honored to be able to capture these intimate and special moments for my clients.
